In Memory of Lucy, a Beloved Member of Our Family

Lucy was a "rescue". Jalissa met her in March of 2003 at an adoption fair held by Town Cats; they had named her "China". Lucy quickly became a beloved member of our family. -- Eric
When I picked her out at the adoption fair, I had said I wanted a kitten. But Lucy was no kitten, she was already fully grown, and a bit bigger than average. There was something very different about her, compared to all the other cats at the adoption fair. All the other cats or kittens came towards me, but Lucy walked away from me. Even back then she knew she was a queen, and she wasn't afraid to act like one. Lucy was my first cat, and I'll always love and miss her. -- Jalissa
Lucy was very affectionate. I remember how she used to rub against me when she wanted to be brushed or wanted food. -- Annette

When I was but a wee kitten (and when I was older), Lucy used to groom me and keep my fur nice and clean. -- Angel
Got to have fresh water!
Drinking straight from the tap -- one of Lucy's favorite pastimes.

She was my best friend in the whole widest world.
I'll miss hanging out with Lucy.
